Dermatologic surgery is generally considered a safe procedure, although complications remain part of routine clinical practice. The aim of this work is to compare complications described in the literature with those observed in daily clinical activity at our center in Brescia. The study analyzes the real-life experience of dermosurgical procedures performed at our institution, focusing on the most frequent postoperative complications and their management in everyday practice. Our observations suggest partial overlap between published data and clinical experience, while also highlighting differences related to patient characteristics and routine management. Real-life data may provide useful information for improving awareness of complications in dermosurgery and optimizing perioperative management strategies.
